VTG Franciscan Desert Rose USA Set of 2 Ceramic Salad Plates 7 5/8" Marked 197 8 PRICE IS FOR SET OF 2 APPROX MEASUREMENTS 7 5/8" diameter 1.5" Rim DESCRIPTION A pair of lovely vintage ceramic earthenware salad plates from Franciscan Desert Rose collection. Printed mark tells me they are from 1978. Other numbers are decorators number. Scalloped edges. Slightly raised handpainted desert rose design. These newer pieces have a deeper richer color of the handpainted design. CONDITION Used but very Good condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing. There may be pottery stilt marks on the back.
